It only happens when I first boot up my PC or restart my PC and then try to Start Steam.

I'm on Windows 8 64 bit and I have no idea why this keeps happening.

it sort of thinks it's in offline mode: the overlay says "Friends is not available in offline mode." and trying to install a game results in "Games cannot be installed while Steam is in offline mode." It says 'Installing Update Verifying Installation' for a very short while every time I start up Steam.

Open steam settings -> Downloads -> Clear Download Cache. super annoying, before this happened i have been having problems with steam showing me as logged out constantly making filling my steam wallet or commenting ect extremely annoying and even more so with this "verifying login information" every 5 seconds that fails everytime.īeen contacting steam support for months (takes them almost a month to reply), get basic copy paste replies with no real help, and or a link talking about ports, but never a answer as to which one(s) i need to see if its/they are open as i dont want or feel the need to open a ton of ports just to get steam to stop telling me im logged out, only other option is turning off my router firewall which is unacceptable. XIVLauncher has been designed to fully replicate the same login and authorization.
